When HSBC Found out I was moving my mortgage they tried very hard to entice me to stay by telling me all the dollars and time it would take etc to make the change.  They of course wanted to know the reason why the move and it was simply that they were unable to give me what I wanted, even tried by offering a better interest rate but still not as good as the rate offered by Scotiabank.
